This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RQ-38-11-204a and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18. The contract type intended for this procurement is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity/fixed price type arrangement for a five year period of performance from September 19, 2011 through September 18, 2016.
