This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services and items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. NRC-OI-12-001 is attached to this synopsis. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-54. This procurement will result in a firm fixed-price type purchase order.

This acquisition is conducted using Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13 procedures. Source selection will be based on the lowest-priced offeror that meets the technical and quality requirements in the solicitation.

The North American Industry Classification System code is 721110, Hotels (except casino hotels) and motels. The size standard for this procurement is  $30 million.

The contractor shall provide conference rooms, audiovisual equipment, food/beverages, and lodging required to produce the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Office of Investigations 2012 Conference/Counterpart Meeting on March 5-9, 2012 in accordance with the Price/Cost schedule and the terms and conditions of this solicitation.

A mandatory requirement of this solicitation is that the hotel shall be located within 11 miles of the NRC Region II office located at Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center, 61 Forsyth Street, SW, Atlanta, GA 30303-8931.

PRICE QUOTE
The price quotation must include all costs required to produce the meeting and will represent the firm-fixed price for the contract. Offerors must submit their quotations on the attached Price/Cost Schedule Excel spreadsheet.

Offerors are to complete and sign blocks 30a-30c of the SF1449. Offerors are to include the completed SF1449 and a completed copy of provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with their offer.

Quotations are due Monday, November 28, 2011 by 3:00 p.m. EST, electronically to [email protected]. Offerors are responsible for technical difficulties and or administrative problems associated with transmission of the files to the NRC.

Solicitation RFQ-NRC-OI-12-001 is distributed through the FedBizOpps Web site (http://www.fedbizopps.gov.) The FedBizOpps Web site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps Web site. Hard copies of the solicitation document and its related documents will not be available. Because this RFQ will be posted on this website, interested parties are instructed NOT to call, send letters, e-mails or faxes requesting the RFQ. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps Website to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The NRC requires the prospective awardee to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of the resulting contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. Processing time, which normally takes 48 hours, should be taken into consideration when registering. Potential offerors who are not registered should consider applying for registration immediately if interested in responding to this solicitation. Potential offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government will not reimburse interested parties for any costs associated with responding to this business opportunity.
