The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking expressions of interest for a site that can provide the Federal Government with secured parking, inclusive of a warehouse or garage type enclosed structure, having a mixture of 70 indoor/outdoor self-park type parking spaces (not valet or stacked-park type parking spaces). The preferred split of parking would be 40 indoor self-park type parking spaces and 30 outdoor self-park type parking spaces on an adjoining lot. Any parking structure offered must be able to accommodate a minimum truck height of 18 feet in order to allow for the passage of oversized vehicles into the structure and it also must provide for a minimum of three (3) truck/loading bays from the lot area into the enclosed structure with motorized roll-up garage doors. Two (2) additional street-level loading bays with motorized roll-up gates are required having a 13 foot preferred height allowance. The entire offered premises must be within a securable type area (the outside lot must be able to be fully enclosed by a minimum 7-foot high metal fence with locking gates). Both the indoor structure and the outdoor lot must be capable of holding a single 53 foot trailer and the offered site must also be able to provide adequate street access to allow the trailer to maneuver into and out of the site. Restroom facilities are required by the Government within the enclosed warehouse or garage type structure, as is 220 volt electric power inside the enclosed structure. The offered site must be located within the designated area of Jamaica, Queens, New York, within a one (1) mile radius of Building 75 located at JFK International Airport. The proposed lease term is for a ten (10) year term, cancelable by the Government after the fifth year of occupancy. All responses received by COB on June 30, 2009 will be considered by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action, based upon responses to this notice, is solely at the discretion of the Government.
