SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE - This is not a request for offers or proposals. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Information received will be used to determine the availability of responsive and responsible firms that would be interested in submitting offers for this anticipated solicitation. The General Services Administration (GSA) Greater Southwest Region is conducting a market survey and is seeking sources for Construction Services. The requirements for this opportunity include Magistrate Courtroom Space Renovation for U.S. District Courts at the J.P. Hammerschmidt Federal Building, 35 East Mountain Street, Fayetteville, AR. The work of the project is defined by the contract documents and consists of the following: the renovation/alteration of approximately 4,080 square feet of courtroom space into new courtroom space. Work to include general demolition of existing walls, doors, interior windows, miscellaneous interior finishes; lay-in ceilings, electrical and HVAC. The overall layout will consist of: 1980 square feet of courtroom, includes jury box, two attorney conference rooms and sound proofing entrance. 700 square feet of Deliberation Space, this includes 2 restrooms and small kitchen area and 165 square feet for a secure corridor for Judge. 1080, square feet of vacant space behind courtroom. The current estimated cost range is $500,000 and 1,000,000. The North American Industry System (NAICS) code for this effort is 236220 and the Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard is 33.5 million dollars. The project will require work to be performed within an occupied Federal Office Building while minimizing disruptions to the operations of the existing facility. All offerors responding to the RFP must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before they can be award a contract. Information concerning CCR requirements may be viewed via internet at www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Companies, who have the necessary experience in construction, as well as an interest in this project, should submit a statement of capabilities, which is not a proposal, but rather a short statement regarding the firm's expertise and experience on construction projects similar in scope to the one described in this notice. Firms should indicate eligibility for SBA programs and whether they are a Small Business, 8(a) firm, Federal HUB zone certified firm, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned firm, small business firm or large business firm.
