Coherent is the only source that can provide the upgrade to the luminescence system that must be compatible with an existing Coherent ultrafast and CW laser systems (MIRA 900D and Sapphire 561-50). The system must be compatible with the existing hardware and software. The on-site upgrade will provide wavelength extension into ultraviolet regime. Coherent holds the proprietary rights to these systems. Coherent has no authorized distributors or resellers.

System shall be delivered not later than eight (8) weeks after receipt of the order.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516, and the size standard 500 employees or less.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
