Coherent is the only source that can provide the upgrade to the Coherent Laser Group MIRA 900D, Ultrafast Ti:S Laser. The laser will be upgraded with a new solid state pump laser. The new solid state pump laser must be compatible with an existing Coherent system. The system must be compatible with the existing hardware and software. Coherent holds the proprietary rights to these systems. Coherent has no authorized distributors or resellers.

System shall be delivered not later than ten (10) weeks after receipt of the order.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516, and the size standard 500 employees or less.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
