This is a notice of intent, not a request for a proposal. A solicitation document will not be issued and proposals will not be requested. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Station Support/Simplified Acquisition (SS/SA) Branch on behalf of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) intends to solicit, negotiate and award a purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Rogue Research, Inc., 4398 Boul Saint-Laurent Bureau 206, Montreal, QC H2W 1Z5, for (1) NDI Polaris Vicra Position Sensor Camera, (2) Brainsight 2 TMS Upgrade System, (3) Brainsight Neuronavigation Computer and (4) Head and Coil Holder Chair and Stand. These items are needed for the upgrade of NINDS’s existing Brainsight Neuronavigation System. Rogue Research, Inc.’s software is proprietary; therefore, to maintain compatibility with ongoing studies and commitments under human subjects’ protocols, these items will be obtained from Rogue Research, Inc. The acquisition is being conducted using FAR part 13.106-1(b)(1) procedures and is exempt from the requirements of FAR part 6, competition requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
