The purpose of this synopsis is to notify industry that a Sole Source Fixed Price Contract is intended to be awarded to Raytheon Digital Force Technologies, LLC under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. The Sole Source Fixed Price Award shall be made prior to September 30th, 2013. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Border Patrol; requires one (1) Digital Force Technologies (DFT) PEPIR system kit to enhance and integrate with CBP's existing proprietary wireless sensor network. The DFT PEPIR System is necessary to enhance existing CBP sensor and intelligence collection ability to display real time tactical information. This capability will increase overall situational awareness, officer safety and mission success. When integrated with other CBP sensors and technology, the PEPIR kit will provide rapid integration of information for accurate dissemination of information to assist in target based interdictions.  Interested parties are required to provide the brand name requirements listed in the determination and findings.
