Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N65236-07-R-0051 is issued as a request for proposal. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The incorporated document, provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-12 and DFARS Change Notice 20060908. This procurement will be awarded through a competitive process. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 334220 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston has a requirement to procure Part Number: UBBL02 Ultralife UBI-2590 Rechargeable Batteries. This is a commercial item requirement to purchase a quantity of (468) Ultralife UBI-2590 Rechargeable Batteries. The proposal should include Free On Board (f.o.b.) Destination shipping terms. The delivery date of the batteries is 45 Days after contract award and will be delivered to SPAWARSYSCEN North Charleston, SC 29419. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The Government will award in accordance with FAR part 13 on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. The offeror shall provide backup information verifying the price offered; e.g. a copy of current catalog, invoices for the same equipment, etc. The clause at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items (Sep 2006) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition.
