Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide Rideshare Services to the University of Georgia (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP. An Agency Contract will be issued to a single supplier for a period of up to five years as a result of this Request for Proposal. The University of Georgia's Rideshare Program is intended to provide affordable, safe and reliable transportation services that will supplement existing UGA campus transportation options. The successful bidder must be able to provide a program that meets the following basic requirements: Able to provide a program that is active during the dates and time established by UGA. Current program is active for use during week between the hours of 10:00PM and 6:00 AM seven days a week. Able to support UGA defined service areas with appropriate technology and tracking. Current program requires qualifying rides to begin or end in the UGA-defined geofence area. Ability for UGA to subsidize student rides with ability for UGA to modify subsidy structure as needed. Currently, students have access to four (4) UGA-subsidized rides per month (16 per semester). Unused rides do no carryover month to month. UGA covers 50% of fare cost up to $5.00/per ride cap for subsidized rides. Ability to provide robust technology to manage subscription, ride hailing, discount application, billing, reporting and administration. Currently, UGA students opt-in to the program via uga.edu email invitation (must be at least 18 years of age to participate).
