The purpose of this amendment is to extend the closing date to April 22, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. EST. Answers to Vendor?s questions will be addressed in a second amendment.The Bureau of the Public Debt (BPD) intends to issue a commercial item Simplified Acquisition solicitation for two (2) 16-hour training courses titled Introduction to XML and two (2) 24-hour courses titled Processing XML documents for a total of four (4) training courses to be held at Parkersburg, WV. BPD has a requirement to provide trainees with an introduction to the knowledge and technical skills required to implement XML based solutions for all aspects of Public Debt?s Internet/Intranet applications. Preferred training dates for the Introduction to XML are Session 1 - June 10-11, 2002 and Session 2, July 8-9, 2002. Preferred training dates for Processing XML Documents are Session 1 - June 12-14, 2002 and Session 2, July 10-12, 2002. The solicitation will be released on or about April 2, 2002. We will post the solicitation to FedBizOpps when it is released.
