The Manchester VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Thompson Reuters (Healthcare) Inc. to purchase Micromedex Online Subscription Service in accordance with FAR Part 12 . The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 519130. Thompson Reuters (Healthcare) Inc., is the only company that can satisfy the agency requirements. Therefore, the Government intends to proceed with a sole source procurement for the required services. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302 - 1, only one responsible source and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. Thompson Reuters (Healthcare) Inc., Greenwood Village, Colorado is the only source that provides the above indicated items and features. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone and facsimile requests/inquiries will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 9/26/11, 1:00pm EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to [email protected].
