Description of DTMS:
The Digital Training Management System is a web based Commercial Off The Shelf software application customized to implement FM 7-0 Training for Full Spectrum Operations. Optimized for use at Brigade and below, DTMS provides the ability to plan, schedule and manage all unit and individual training nested with Mission and Mission Essential Task List (METL). DTMS also has the ability to develop and auto-populate AARs and commanders' assessments of training events. The digital capability to capture the planning, preparation and execution data trail improves training process monitoring for coordination, assessment, analysis and decision making in support of ARFORGEN. Compiling and displaying unit roll-ups of training conducted through customizable tabs DTMS tracks weapons qualification, APFT, Army Warrior Training, AR 350-1 common military training, MOS training, and deployment tasks from quote mark Enlistment to Retirement quote mark . DTMS is an unclassified FOUO system using both AKO logon and unit managed User Permissions to control access to unit training data.
