This is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. The purpose of this market research (Source Sought Synopsis) is to determine if sports referee/officials are available by a company that can provide this service for all youth league sport programs. The referee/officials service sought will provide service for the following leagues: Youth League Basketball: instructional league (6-7 yrs) one official per game, instructional league (8-9 yrs) two officials per game, American league (10-11 yrs) two officials per game, National league (12-13 yrs) two official per game, and junior varsity/varsity (14-18 yrs) two officials per game. Youth League Flag Football: instructional league (6-7 yrs) two officials per game, American league (8-9 yrs) two officials per game, National league (10-11 yrs) two officials per game, and international league (12-14 yrs) two officials per game. Youth League Baseball: American league (7, 8, & 9 yrs) one official per game, National league (10, 11, & 12 yrs) two officials per game. Firms responding to this RFI are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company?s full name, business size, address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the service the government is seeking. Final responses to this RFI will be due by 1600 hours (4pm), central standard time (CST), on 29 SEPTEMBER 2006.
