Proposals are requested to develop and deliver four (4) training courses linked to Marketing. These courses will cover the following subjects: (1) Market Outreach, (2) Revenue Generation, (3) Communications Management, and (4) Advertising. These courses will each consist of sixteen (16) hours, two (2)- days, of actual instruction. These courses are aimed at supporting professional development of transit agency marketing professionals currently employed in the industry. These courses will become part of a series of professional development curricula planned by NTI in support of a variety of job categories present throughout the transit industry. These courses will assume the participant?s basic familiarity with marketing activities and build upon a combination of both participant job experience and training. They will focus on the various Marketing functions and include instruction where appropriate relating to laws, regulations and policies that affect Federally assisted transit programs. The contract will require the development of participant manuals, instructor?s guides, and presentation aids for the delivery of each of the multi-day course offerings. These courses will be offered up to four (4) times a year during the three (3)-year base contract period. NTI will require proposers to have experience in developing and delivering related training courses designed for marketing professionals. To obtain a copy of the complete RFP, send a written request on organization letterhead to the University Procurement and Contracting address above. Fax or e-mail requests will be accepted; telephone requests are unacceptable. RFP?s will not be faxed. Requests for RFPs will be honored through Wednesday, January 30, 2002.
