Operational Contracting, US Air Force Academy intends to award a sole source purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures to Klinger Educational Products Corp 112-19 14th Rd College Point NY 11356-1453 for the following items: CLIN 0001 Melting heat experiment P/N P2.4.1.2. (b) CLIN 0002 Hot air engine experiment P/N P 2.6.2.2/r. CLIN 0003 Heat capacity of solids experiment P/N P 2.3.2.1 (b). CLIN 0004 Evaporation heat of water experiment P/N P 2.4.1.1 (b). CLIN 0005 Investigating a liquid-vapor mixture at the critical point experiment. P/N P 2.4.3.1 (b). CLIN 0006 Efficiency of the heat pump as a function of the temperature differential experiment P/N P 2.6.3.1. Quantity one each. These items are being acquired for the Physics Department, USAF Academy. Supplies and/or services are available from only one responsible source. No other type of supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. If no response is received by Jan 15, Noon, MST, to the effect that comparable supplies and/or services are available that would be more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these supplies and or services though a sole source procurement with Klinger, a sole source award will be made.
