NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTIONS(11 March 07) 1. This notice will serve as notification of a Sole Source solicitation for the following: Operational Contracting, US Air Force Academy intends to award a Sole Source Purchase Order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures to Higher Learning Commission (HLC), 30 N. LaSalle St, Suite 2400, Chicago, IL 60602. This request is issued for the USAF Academy /FMFL for renewal of their HLC membership. HLC is the only known source that meets the USAFA requirements. This will be a firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. The requested period of performance is 01 Jun 07 through 31 July 08. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. 2. This procurement is for the acquisition of a sole source commercial item using simplified procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. 3. FAR provisions 52.212-3-Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items and 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply. In addition, the clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. Additional FAR clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are: (b) 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, and 31.
