Description: Through lectures, group discussions, examinations, and a field trip, this course teaches the student fundamental dredging theory and accepted dredging practices in addition to basic information on how Corps dredging projects are engineered, managed, and maintained. An overview of dredge estimating, hydrographic surveying, dredging safety, and dredging contract administration is also provided: Soliciataion is to be issued on or about 26 January 2011.
