The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia Site intends to solicit, on a sole source basis, the procurement of The American Society of Naval Engineer’s (ASNE) biennial Intelligent Ships Symposium on 25-26 May 2011 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A variety of workshops and discussions will take place over the two day event. The event will be attended by naval engineers from DOD activities, industry, and academia from all over the United States. The solicitation is expected to result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 813920. Upon its release, the solicitation will be made available electronically at www.neco.navy.mil. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available.
