This is a notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source contract for service under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to AccessData Corporation, 384 South 400 West, Suite 200, Lindon, UT 84042. The Federal Bureau of Investigation requires software training and certification for users of the AccessData software. The software is proprietary to the manufacturer, AccessData Corp., and is the primary processing tool used by Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) Forensic Examiners. The detailed level of training required by CART involving this required software is available only from the maker of the software, AccessData Corp. No other vendor can provide the appropriate level of technical expertise for this specific training. This class, ?Applied Decryption? will be offered during March 6 -8, 2007 in Kansas City and September 18 ? 20, 2007 in San Francisco. Services are being procured FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Period of performance anticipated to be 9 months. This Notice of Intent is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes.
