(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a Fishing Twin Trawl Vessel Charter to conduct 30 paired tows for a cooperative research compartive study for NOAA Fisheries Science Center prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(ii) The solicitation number for this procurement is 1305M218QNFFM0141 and is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).

(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97 effective 08/22/2018.

(iv) The associated NAICS code is 487210 Scenic and Sightseeing Transportation, Water
