Work is to be completed to a private home, under the jurisdiction of Pierce County. The contractor must review site conditions, and report any concerns or discrepancies to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) in writing prior to beginning construction. The design is detailed in the County Approved Design, Attachment 1.
In accordance with the Design, the contractor must:
D.1. Work Requirements: The septic system and water pressure system installation shall include:
D.1.1. Mobilization and demobilization.
D.1.2. Installation of approximately 15 linear feet of 4” SCH 35 PVC solid sewer pipe.
D.1.3. Installation of two underground double-sweep cleanouts.
D.1.4. Installation of approximately 440 ft of sewer force main (2" PVC, SCH 40).
D.1.5. Installation of a 1,500-gallon 2-compartment concrete septic tank with effluent filter, for
main house.
D.1.6. Installation of a 1,900-gallon concrete pump tank and controls (Liberty FL70 Series ¾ HP
submersible effluent pump or equal, for main house.
D.1.7. Installation of a 1250-gallon 2-compartment septic tank with pump and controls (Orenco
PF5005 1/2 HP submersible effluent pump or equal), for ADU.
D.1.8. Installation of a valve box and 1.5” PVC SCH 40 manifold.
D.1.9. Installation of approximately 240 linear feet of sand-lined trench drainfield with 1” PVC SCH
40 lateral pipes.
D.1.10. Installation of a 1 HP submersible well pump (Goulds 10GS10 or equal) and controls
D.1.11. Installation of approximately 90 linear feet of 1.25” SCH 120 PVC drop pipe and
submersible cable.
D.1.12. Installation of a pitless adapter and well cap.
D.1.13. Installation of two 81-gallon water pressure tanks (Amtrol WX255 or equal) and shared
pressure switch.
D.1.14. Installation of approximately 180 linear feet of 1.25” SCH 40 PVC water service line to
ADU.
D.1.15. Installation of approximately 280 linear feet of 1.5” SCH 40 PVC water service line to main
