HOUSING,GEARBOX,TURBINE.  Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.  DLA Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item; please do not submit requests.  The only approved source for this item is The Boeing Company.  Any manufacturer, other than the approved source, wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval package.  The solicitation will result in a firm fixed price contract. The requirement is for 6 each.  FOB origin and Inspection and Acceptance at Origin.  The required delivery is 635 days.  PPIRS applies; the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.  All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.  This is a letter RFP. A copy of the solicitation will not be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS). Sole Source (FAR 6.302) regulation applies.  A copy of this solicitation will only be available to requesters by contacting the buyer directly.  The solicitation issue date is May 17, 2016.
