CITY OF BEND TUMALO-BROADWAY WATER LINE REPLACEMENT Bids due 2:00 pm, April 28, 2021 INVITATION TO BID PROJECT NO. WA21AA SOLICITATION NO. 21-3531 The City of Bend invites Sealed Bids for construction of Tumalo-Broadway Water Line Replacement. Work includes, but is not limited to, approximately 1,740 feet of 8-inch Ductile Iron water main, fire hydrants, appurtenant valves and fittings, water main tie-ins to existing water system, water service connections, stormwater catch basins, stormwater conveyance pipe, stormwater pretreatment and disposal facilities, hot mix asphalt concrete paving, concrete curbs, ADA ramps, miscellaneous land scaping restoration, and traffic control. The Engineer's estimate is approximately $1,116,100. The invitation to bid, plans, specifications, addenda, plan-holders list, mandatory pre-bid attendees, and notifi cation of bid results for this project may be viewed, printed or ordered on line from Premier Builders Exchange at http://premierbx.com by clicking on "Public Works Projects" and then on "City of Bend". Contact the Issuing Officer if you are unable to access online. Entities intending to bid should register with the Premier Builders Exchange as a plan-holder in order to receive addenda. Bidders are responsible for making sure they have all addenda before submitting bids. A mandatory virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 9:00 AM on April 14, 2021 via Microsoft Teams. Bidders planning on attending the meeting shall RSVP to Heather Herauf, Senior Procurement Analyst, to be added to the meeting. Bidders are encouraged to RSVP as soon as possible to ensure they are added to the meeting. RSVP may be emailed to hherauf@bend oregon.gov. The deadline for submitting bids is: April 28, 2021, at 2:00 PM. Bids will be opened and read as soon as possible after 2:00 PM via live streaming. Bids must be physically received by the City at the location listed below by the deadline. No faxed or electronic (email) bids shall be accepted. Prequalification is a requirement. Bidders must be prequalified with City of Bend at the time the bids are opened. Prequalification process is administered by the Private Development Engineering Division through the CityView permit and licensing software and customer portal.
