The T.S. Empire State is a U.S. Government owned training ship provided to the State University of New York Maritime Academy for the purpose of training young men and women for a career in the U.S. Maritime Industry.  It is the intention of the Maritime Administration to accomplish Propulsion Boiler Repair, Inspection and Hydrostatic testing  as listed in the Statement of work.  All repairs will be witnessed by and completed to the satisfaction of the attending ABS Surveyor, United States Coast Guard, and COTR. Repairs will be accomplished at the vessels lay berth.

RFQ to be issued on/around 14 Jan 2010; Site Visit on/around 20 Jan 2010.  Period of Performance approx: 1/27/2010-2/10/2010.
