Trout Production Willamette Basin – Solicitation W9127N21R0034
This announcement is a Sources Sought Notice (market survey). This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine interested parties, socioeconomic status availability, and capabilities. The Government intends to use responses to this sources sought notice to make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District funds production and release of hatchery trout to aid in meeting the mitigation obligations. The Government has a need for hatchery trout production in the Willamette Basin. The Contractor will produce, rear and release hatchery rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) to various rivers, lakes, and waterbodies within the Willamette Valley River Basin, based on the Delivery Schedule. Deliveries (stocking) will occur between February and November in 2022. Specific delivery dates will be adjusted as needed.

The Period of deliveries is anticipated to be 1 February 2023 through 3 November 2023 and two (2) consecutive option delivery years.
The Government intends to advertise a solicitation for this project on or around 1 July 2021. At this time, a solicitation does not exist; therefore, offers shall not be accepted. It is the potential Offeror's responsibility to monitor SAM.gov for release of any future solicitation that may result from this Sources Sought Notice.
