Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i), Navy Medicine East intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Grifols Diagnostic Solutions, Inc. for the lease of two Triturus Lab Testing Analyzers and Reagents on behalf of the Naval Health Clinic Beaufort, SC.  The reagents are exclusively from Grigols as these are the only consumables that will work with the existing Triturus Analyzer equipment. 

This notice will be distributed solely through the betaSAM.gov Website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the betaSAM site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 334516.

Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined the requirement can only be provided by Grifols Diagnostic Solutions, Inc. as they are the sole proprietor for the comprehensive package.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 3pm, EST, 29 September 2020 by email to Dene Slater, Contracting Officer, at [email protected]. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
