The Government intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) order. The order will be delivered to Armstrong Research Center and offsite at the Contractor’s facilities. The Government will make available existing Government property for onsite performance.
The requirement for Triplex/MFTS Tracker Refurbishment is depot level preventive type maintenance of a proprietary design . The service includes removal of Dryden Aeronautical Test Range (DATR) antenna systems, inspection, repair, lubricate, paint, modify antenna and pedestal assemblies, integration with new components, transportations, installation, and documentation.
Expected period of performance is 3 months per antenna from reception of each antenna by contractor to return to site, with understanding that work is subject to schedule conflicts due to NASA mission support and COVID related delays.
