ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF GULFPORT TRENCHLESS PIPE INSPECTION, CLEANING & REPAIR UNIT PRICE CONTRACT The City of Gulfport is seeking sealed bids for the Trenchless Pipe Inspection, Cleaning, & Repair Unit Price Contract. Sealed bids will be received at the City of Gulfport Procurement Office located at 1410 24th Avenue, Hardy Building, 2nd Floor, Gulfport, Mississippi 39501, either by mail or hand delivery, until 10:00 A.M., Local Time, on November 10, 2021 at 10:00 am. Scope of Work: This project includes CCTV inspection, cleaning and internal repairs and/or maintenance to sewer and drainage pipes. All work will be without excavations. This is a unit price contract and the Owner will assign Work Orders to the successful bidder based on the unit price bid. Plans and specifications may be obtained from the Procurement Office by emailing the Procurement Office at [email protected] or on Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com . Each bidder must deposit his bid security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of the conditions in the contract. For bids exceeding $50,000.00, bidder must indicate his Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed bid as required by MS Law. Effective July 1, 2010; Per MS code 31-3-21(3); any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the nonresident contractor’s current state law pertaining to such state’s treatment of non-resident contractors, shall be rejected and not considered for award. If no such law exists in the non-resident’s contractor’s state, then the non-resident contract may provide a statement to that effect. The project will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. However, the City of Gulfport reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informality. The successful bidder must adhere to the City’s policy concerning non-discrimination without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex, national origin or handicap. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
