This acquisition is for a the procurement of Treehouse Software software maintenance necessary for DISA SSO - Mechanicsburg CDTP3, 5450 Carlisle Pike, Bldg. 312, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Treehouse Software has proprietary rights to the software code for the software products associated with this requirement and is the only known source that can provide this maintenance support. No other vendor or distributor can legally obtain access to the software and no other vendor can make duplicate copies since it is protected by copyright and patent laws. The Period of Performance is a One-Year beginning 1 October 2008 through 30 September 2009. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
