CITY OF BURLINGTON TREE TRIMMING SPECIFICATIONS 2021 Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the City of Burlington City Hall Office until 10:00 A.M., on February 25, 2021, at which time they will be publicly opened and read for the services of tree branch removal from primary electrical power lines. Please carefully read and follow the instructions. Bids shall be presented under sealed cover. Clearly marked with “Tree Trimming Bid” and bid submittal deadline date on the outside and mailed or delivered to: City of Burlington 415 15th Street Burlington Colorado 80807 NO ORAL, TELEPHONIC, TELEGRAPHIC, ELECTRONIC (E-MAIL), OR FACSIMILE BIDS OR MODIFICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED. BIDS RECEIVED AFTER THE BID SUBMITTAL DEADLINE WILL BE REJECTED REGARDLESS OF POSTMARK DATE AND WILL BE RETURNED TO THE BIDDER UNOPENED. General Requirements: 1.1 All trees or branches shall be cut to a minimum of three feet from all primary power lines. 1.2 All trees and branches cut or trimmed shall be removed by the successful bidder. 1.3 All work done shall have a three year rotation in mind. 1.4 Must coordinate with the City of Burlington Electric Department for power lines that may need to be covered or protected to prevent an uncontrolled outage event. 1.5 All controlled outages will be coordinated with the City of Burlington to give customers in the affected area a 24 hour notice at the minimum. 1.6 The successful bidder shall provide the City of Burlington with a certificate of liability insurance.
