The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA or Authority) will receive quotes from qualified contractors for tree removals and treatments in Aliso Viejo communities as specified. Please review the IFB for additional information. This project utilizes grant funds and additional information may be required for contract award. Pursuant to SB 854, no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a bid for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) per California Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is a public work and is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. Prevailing wage requirements apply. Awarded contractor is required to comply with California Labor code sections 1771, 1775, 1776, 1777.5, 1813 & 1815. DEBARMENT/SUSPENSION Policy - In order to prohibit the procurement of any goods or services ultimately funded by Federal awards from debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded parties, each bidder will be screened at the time of the bid response to ensure the bidders principals are not debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded by the United States Government in compliance with the requirements of 7 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 3016.35, 28 CFR, 66.35, 29 CFR 97.35, 34 CFR 80.35, 45 CFR 92.35 and Executive Order 12549.
