The City of Austin, DBA Austin Energy, requires the services of a waste disposal contractor to package, transport, treat, and dispose of wastes with Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) content of 2 ppm or higher, as regulated by the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) herein after referred to as “wastes with PCBs”, generated at Austin Energy facilities. The City requires the services of a waste disposal contractor to properly dispose of electrical equipment and wastes contaminated with PCBs.
