This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long term contract which will include NSN 6685-01-058-3530, Transmitter, Liquid in accordance with Simmonds Precision Products, Inc., CAGE 89305, P/N 391002-248 and Lavi Systems Inc., CAGE 0ADZ9 P/N T-102-F16.  The proposed contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract in accordance with FAR Part 15.  The period of performance will be a 1-year base period and four, 1-year option periods.  The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted using other than full and open competition.   The RFQ will be issued for an estimated annual quantity of 189 each for the base year and each option year.  Offers will be solicited with production delivery of 72 days ARO.  Terms are FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Origin covering DLA Direct requirements only.  Clause 252.225-7021, Trade Agreements applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be made in writing and will issue on or about August 4, 2017.
