The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), International Services (IS) intends to issue a sole source award using commercial and simplified acquisition procedures for professional services as lead trainer and subject matter expert for International Transboundary Animal Disease courses. Please see attached justification for more details. The period of performance will be for one year with options for up to four additional years. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
