The Training Manager (TM) is responsible for the overall development, implementation, management and evaluation of all Volunteer trainings at PC/Suriname. The TM ensures that all trainings are designed and conducted in a manner that maximizes integration of all training components and fully incorporates community-based training methodologies. S/he directs the training to ensure the Trainees are prepared to effectively conduct their primary assignments in country. The TM is responsible for planning and participating in training and social activities on a daily basis with staff and Trainees in the training area. S/he provides leadership that stimulates the growth and development of the Trainees, Volunteers and staff. S/he is responsible for the safety and security of Trainees, PCVs and training staff located at the training sites and during training activities.
