This work will consist of signalization of the intersection of Nevada Street and Bernal Avenue, construction of concrete curb extensions (bulb-outs) on the northwest and southwest corners with a Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps, asphalt concrete conforms to curb extensions, reconstruction of a ADA compliant curb ramp at the southeast corner, removal of new drainage inlet, new storm drain manhole (conversion from inlet to manhole) at the southwest corner, removal of exiting concrete median and cobblestone and repaving with new asphalt concrete, utility adjustments, new signing and striping at and in the vicinity of the intersection. Electrical work would compose of: protection existing utilities and appurtenances; the installation of foundations, pole standards, mast arms, signal display equipment, luminaries, lamps, underground conduits, pull boxes, cables and conductors; the bonding and grounding of circuitry, the installation of electrical services; excavating and backfilling; clearing and grubbing; sawcutting of pavement and sidewalks; the installation of signing on traffic signal standards; traffic control; and all other work necessary and any other items of work not mentioned above that are required by the Plans and these Special Provisions.
