This is a small business set-aside requirement under the North America Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code –813110 Religious Organizations with a small business size standard of $12 million and Product Service Code (PSC) G002 Social Chaplain.
The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for Traditional Protestant Worship Service Musician.
Under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1, the Contractor shall provide services in coordination with the chaplain in charge of the service for regularly scheduled worship services, special services/events or seasonal observances for Traditional Protestant Worship Service Musician as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Paragraph 2 and 4.3.
Qualifications include: A degree in music from an accredited institution is preferred. (A minimum of four years of experience in Protestant Church music may be substituted.) Knowledge of Protestant Traditional music is required. Must be able to play piano from sheet music or the hymnal proficiently and assist in vocal leads. Ability to perform in these areas is required. Previous experience in a Protestant military chapel setting is preferred.
Period of Performance will be from 28 Sep 2022 to 30 Jun 2027. It includes a nine month base year from 28 Sep 2022 to 30 Jun 2023 and four one year option periods fom 1 Jul 2023 to 30 Jun 2027. Location: JBER. Alaska,
