The contractor must have a NMFS Endangered Species Permit for smalltooth sawfish and an Everglades National Park Permit.

The Endangered Species Act requires an ESA permit for anyone working on endangered species.

The contractor must also have at least 4 years of field work experience working with smalltooth sawfish and longline/gillnet gears.

Eastern Region Acquisition requires that all contractors doing business with the acquisition office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
