• Description: NSN 2510-01-542-0698 - Torsion Bar, Suspension being bought in accordance with BAE Systems Land and Armaments LP (05386), part number 7010599-2 per "Source Controlled drawing (0MLM6) 7010599, Revision B, dated 15 September 2005. Technical data is available for this solicitation but access is restricted to those suppliers qualified through JCP certification or to those licensed by either the Departments of State or Commerce or to foreign suppliers pursuant to international agreements.

This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical
data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of
10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved source is: BAE Systems Land and Armaments LP (05386).

Quantity: 97 / 194 w/100% option.

Unit of Issue: EA.

Destination Information: 47 will be shipped to Albany GA and 50 will be shipped to Tracy CA 95304.

Delivery Schedule: 280 days.

FOB Destination / Inspection and Acceptance at Destination.

All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered.

While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation

Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.

All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars.

This solicitation is unrestricted.

Proposed procurement contains a 100 % option for increased quantities.

This solicitation will include DLAD provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction (RA). It is the intent of the contracting officer to utilize reverse auction to the maximum extent practicable. The inclusion of the provision does not mandate use of RA.
