One-year, single-award term contract with four option years for the production of a separate cover, saddle-stitched periodical with an occasional poster inserted and bound to the publication requiring such operations as electronic prepress, proofs, printing in up to five ink colors (four-color process plus one Pantone ink), UV coating, binding, packing, and distribution.  Approximately 7 orders per year.  Six pamphlet orders with a trim size of 8-1/4 x 10-3/4".  One calendar issue with a trim size of 14 x 7".  Poster (13 x 13-1/2") folded and inserted in to calendar and held in place with fugitive glue.  Approximately 18,000 to 25,000 copies per pamphlet order.  Calendar issue will be 35,000 to 45,000 per order.  Electronic media (Adobe Creative Suite 4 for Macintosh) provided.  Digital one-piece composite laminated color proofs and digital color content proofs required.  Bleed edges throughout all issues.  Some crossovers.  All printing MUST be done on a five-color press minimum.  Multiple distribution addresses provided as a Microsoft Excel file.  Majority ships f.o.b. contractor's city via most economical and efficient means.  Complete specifications are attached and can also be accessed at http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/bidopps/bidopps.action?region=dallas.
