The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339115 Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturing with a corresponding size standard of 750 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns.

The following is the equipment to include Shipping, training, and installation to support The Eye Care Line: (Brand New)

•1.   3D OCT-1 Maestro: TOPCON Optical Coherance Tomography with Non Myd camera, one touch auto alignment, auto focus & shoot

•2.   Topcon AIT-250 Instrument Table

This sources sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This sources sought and request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.

Contractors responding to this sources sought notice are advised their response does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. Contractor responses should include:

The size of your business with regard to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339115 per the standard described in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.102 (FAR available at http://farsite.hill.af.mil).

Company name, DUNS, CAGE, Contact information including phone number and email.

Distributors: You must provide proof that your firm is an authorized distributor of the product. Naval Hospital Guam does not accept grey market items. Grey/gray market also known as a parallel market, is the trade of a commodity through distribution channels which, while legal, are unofficial, unauthorized, or unintended by the original manufacturer.

If you have an existing GSA or VA, Federal Supply Schedule contract, please include the contract details in your response.

If you are a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), please provide a copy of your Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) memo.
