On December 8, 2021, the N.Y. State Comptroller’s office granted the Department an exemption for competitively advertising, thus approving its single source exemption request to extend Contract #C031407 for Title Searching and Abstract Services with Frontier Abstract and Research Services, Inc. until December 31, 2022. Pursuant to NY State Finance Law Section 163.10(b), the Department is stating that this Consultant will continue to provide Appraisal Services. Further, The Department states that the requirements for these services have been designed in a fair and equitable manner, and that the additional contract period selected was limited to the minimum time necessary to ameliorate the circumstances which created the material and substantial reasons for this single source no-cost time extension.
