Purpose The Upson County Board of Commissioners is seeking a contractor to provide regular turf management applications and fire ant control to all the sports fields associated with Thomaston-Upson County Recreation – Civic Center as well as other County owned parks including Sprewell Bluff. Selection for a turf management contractor will be made though a sealed bid process whereby all interested contractors will be required to attend a pre-bid meeting and submit sealed bid packages. On bid opening, a representative from Upson County Board of Commissioner staff will open bids publicly and read aloud all bid prices. A decision will be recommendation will be made based off the bid received and submitted to the Board of Commissioners for approval.
