ThermoVision SENTRY II Parts, Acceccories and Services

 

The Government intends to award this requirement on a sole source basis to FLIR Systems, Inc to provide cable set, connectors, P/N 614006743 PELCO QUAD, and service/labor to support for the ThermoVision/SENTRY II System.  This notice of intent is NOT a request for Competitive Quotes.  This notice does not constitute a solicitation document.   The Standard Industrial Classification code is 3812, NAICS code 334511, and the related Business Size Standard is $14,000,000.00.  This is a one-time fixed price purchase   All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DoD).  All prospective offerors interested  in submitting a quote must have a Commercial and Government Entity code (CAGE code). All responsible sources may submit quote, which if timely received, will be considered by the agency.  AFFARS 5352.201-9101- OMBUDSMAN (AUG 2005)

(a) An ombudsman has been appointed to consider and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. The ombudsman may not serve as an advocate for any party.

(b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, concerned parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. Consulting an ombudsman does not alter or postpone the timelines for any other processes (e.g., agency level bid protests, GAO bid protests, requests for debriefings, employee-employer actions, contests of OMB Circular A-76 competition performance decisions).

(c) If resolution cannot be made by the contracting officer, concerned parties may contact the Center/MAJCOM ombudsmen. (d) The ombudsman has no authority to render a decision that binds the agency.
