THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to Harwick Standard Distribution Corp. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for Therm-chek 837. It is used to in the manufacturing of wiper rollers in both the Eastern Currency Facility (ECF) and Western Currency Facility (WCF).

Therm-chek 837, manufactured by Valtris Specialty Chemicals, is the only approved product for use by the BEP. It is sold only through Harwick Standard Distribution Corp.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, the Government will complete a sources sought for future procurements. Interested parties who believe they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit documentation that clearly demonstrates their capability. Responses to this notice shall be received by 28 September 2015 at 11:00am EDT. All responses must be in writing only via email to the point of contacts specified in this notice. Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
