The Village of Libertyville and the Libertyville Township Road District have scheduled a Public Information Meeting for the Rockland Road Bridge over Des Plaines River Preliminary Engineering Study The Village of Libertyville and the Libertyville Township Road District have initiated a preliminary engineering study for potential improvements to Rockland Road Bridge over Des Plaines River in the Village of Libertyville and Libertyville Township. The purpose of the meeting is to present the existing conditions and potential improvement concepts and accept public comments regarding the project. Two meeting dates are scheduled. The content of each meeting will be identical, therefore there is no need to attend both evenings. The details of the meeting are as follows: Dates: October 20, 2020 and October 21, 2020 Time:4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Open House Format Location: Libertyville Civic Center 135 W. Church Street Libertyville, Illinois 60048 The meeting will be conducted in an informal, open house format. Exhibits will be available for public viewing at the meeting. Residents and interested stakeholders should feel free to attend the meeting at any time between 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. Representatives from the Village of Libertyville, Libertyville Township Road District, and the project consultant team will be present to discuss the project and answer any questions on an individual basis. Due to the current restrictions in place for the Restore Illinois plan, attendance will be limited to 50 people at one time, including Village and Township staff and consultant representatives, and a line may form. All attendees must wear a mask and will practice social distancing. No one will be allowed into the meeting without a mask.
