The ?SPAWAR / Industry Conference 2004? will be held October 20 ? 22, 2004, at the Hyatt Regency Islandia Hotel, San Diego, California. The annual event is co-sponsored by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command and the San Diego Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association. This year?s theme is ?Composing FORCEnet: Speed to Joint Capability.? Senior officials will focus on explaining FORCEnet, along with how the Navy and other services are planning to fund and compose joint transformational warfighting requirements. Highlighted speakers include Hon. John J. Young, Jr., ASN (RD&A); Nick Kunesh, DASN Logistics; Lt. Gen. Robert W. Wagner, Deputy Commander JFCOM; VADM James D. McArthur, Jr., NETWARCOM; and, VADM Arthur K. Cebrowski, OFT OSD. The briefing program will include two social events: a reception and awards dinner.
