CITY OF EAST PROVIDENCE WEBSITE ADVERTISEMENT THE REPURPOSING OF BREED HALL REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP EP20/21-05 BID OPENING ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 15, 2021 AT 11AM The City of East Providence requests proposals from interested parties to repurpose Breed Hall located at 610 Waterman Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914. The City received CARES ACT funds to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the Covid-19 pandemic. The City intends to repurpose its Breed Hall building to accommodate Covid testing, medical related examinations for those that may be infected or having related health issues, and eventually the provision of vaccinations to prevent and reduce its health impacts. It will incorporate 2 new exam rooms within the existing building. Because the City used Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to acquire the property, Davis Bacon prevailing wage rate requirements apply to any construction related activities for the building. General Decision Number: RI20200001 11/06/2020 will be used to comply with this requirement.
