The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price award to  Emory University (Emory Hope Clinic), 201 Dowman Drive, Atlanta, GA 30322. The purpose of the award is to test a novel inactivated rotavirus vaccine using a microneedle patchin a phase 1 clinical trial in adults at Emory Hope Clinic.  Emory Hope Clinic has the proprietary research data in support of clinical trial of placebo microneedle patch in children and influenza vaccine using a dissolving microneedle patch in adults.

 This contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.301-1.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within 14 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.  A determination by the government not to compete this proposed modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. 

Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  Any quotation/response should be emailed to the contract specialist at [email protected] by COB May 1, 2020.
